This Privacy Policy describes how Petly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Petly mobile application and website (petly-app.com).

2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address (via Firebase Auth)
- Google/Apple account info when using social login (name, email, profile picture)
- Pet information: name, type, photo (optional)
- Activity data: feeding logs, walk logs, notes, timestamps
- Device information: push notification token (Expo)
- Usage data: app interactions (via Vercel Analytics)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core functionality of the app (logging, sharing within groups)
- To send push notifications about pet care activity
- To process subscription payments via Apple/Google billing
- To improve the app based on usage patterns
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only:
- With group members (activity logs you choose to log)
- With Firebase (authentication)
- With RevenueCat (subscription management)
- With Expo (push notifications)
- With Vercel (hosting and analytics)
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data · rectification · erasure · data portability · object to processing.

7. Children's Privacy
Petly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
